Luckily, my Adblock is perfectly blocking all the new ads... I didn't even notice until people started complaining.
That said -- FA is really trying hard to drive people away. So far, no scandal or drama has made me ever care -- but this shit is outta hand. l3

I'm using adblock too.. but I don't feel comfortable having my artwork displayed next to these ads, and so many of them. Right now FA is the last place I want my art to be viewed at, but still the biggest userbase.

For some reason the adds here never bothered me x3. That may be because I almost always view FA via iphone though. I think their less noticable that way. Is it more noticable on computers? I only get on the desktop when I need to fiddle with my account. On my phone the adds only appear on the very top and bottom of my screen and everything else I want and need is all scrunched in the center where I need it =3.

I use Adblock to get the creepy IMVU ads to go away. The people look like E.T. went through the makeup drawer, and the anthros look like they came from the What has science done section of E621 (if you value your innocence then don't search for this). It's understandable that sites take to advertisement rights due to loss of funds or want for more, but this is definitely getting out of hand. There is a lot needed to be done before we can fix FA, like I know some people would favor a random button so we can see what comes up when we feel too lazy to search, and a blacklist for those who don't want to end up bleaching their eyes. There's way more than that, however I don't have the time (I think the pizza got delivered!..... nope it was just my big brother)


Don't get me wrong, I love FA, but it has become like my clingy ex. "Remember that time when we were perfect for each other and it was wonderful?" "Yeah it was great till you changed and now I don't recognize you anymore so we grew apart and your friends all left"... what I'm saying is just get Adblock and don't feed their habit. If FA is smart they will set up a donation box and I'll send some cash their way if that happens (though the cash will have 'GET IT FIXED' written on it) and then everything should clear up... but now let's take ourselves out of Happy Hopes and Dreams Land, and address the fact that this will get worse before it gets better and understand that websites and companies want nothing but money even if they piss off the consumers, and that's why the friendly, 'happy with his life' ideas writer never becomes a big wig CEO, because we live in a world where even most charities are corrupt so just think of it like this
