Vicious looking feet

Dude this is amazing! They did an amazing work on your character Zapedy! Does this mean he will appear in the game?

Interesting creature. With feet like his, one would expect his opponents would be more worried about evisceration than blunt trauma...

But I can't help to wonder how would such oversized claws impact his everyday life...
He certainly wouldn't be able to wear most types of shoes and would most likely have trouble of putting on tight trousers as well... Would he even be able to use regular mattresses and bedsheets without shredding them in his sleep? Running on uneven ground would probably be dangerous as well, since it would take a single mound of dirt to lodge his claws into (or hitting a rock) to send him over onto his muzzle. He'd probably have to be extra careful indoors as well, so not to accidentally cause scratch damage to any furniture or wooden floors... And he probably wouldn't be able to drive either...
On the plus side, I assume he'd have more traction on soft, even ground and would be able to climb trees (but not rock walls) easier...

Forgot to ask above (And I can't find an "Edit" button): How exactly does he climb stairs?

You'll be shocked to know that he actually doesn't kick with his claws, he kicks with his heel, side of the foot and ball of the foot, His claws are made for gripping and climbing not quite Attacking. (I even have a test video online that shows it)

He has no problem with his everyday life, his feet and legs are outstandingly flexible, if he bends his foot forward like a ballerina, he can put his feet through trousers easy tight or not.
Now about the shoes: In his world, the area is so clean and warm that a lot of anthros walk barefoot down the streets but if he did chose to wear any type of shoes, he sometimes wears sandals and they have special made trainers for anthros that have 2 claws, 3 claws, 4 or 5 claws on their feet, they have holes in them where the fit the claws.

He sleeps in beds and Mattresses fine, he has so much control over his on feet, it's like second nature to him, the claws are there but remember there's still a slight area of toe leading to the claw so that helps stand and walk and have control. As you know, when you stand and lift ya heel off the ground, you may notice ya still standing and balancing on the ball of the foot so that improves the control more here's a picture that shows how much balance he has http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14932111/

Climbing stairs is easy as well, his likes to climb trees, the sloth area of him makes it easy to him, he even climbs into the cage.

Thanks for your concerns man, I wish I could kick myself up the arse and get my animations of him going, you'll see how he moves and what he's like in his daily life.

- I'm not shocked (or even surprised) by his method of kicking. It would make sense he wouldn't try stabbing anyone he fights... I've seen videos of sloths grip branches, but I honestly can't tell how he's use them like that...

- Fun fact: being warm is not really necessary to go barefoot (I did go for a barefoot walk in snow more than once in RL, and the most that happened is that my toes hurt for maybe half a minute after warming back up; I don't know where you live, but if you have the chance, I recommend you try it sometime), but I understand the "clean" part (last time I went for a barefoot walk to a beach, I ended up pulling glass shards from my soles, not a pleasant experience)...

- It wasn't the toes themselves that were bothering me (It really wouldn't make any sense for him to have just claws without toes), it was the sheer size of the claws. Imagine attaching pens to your toes and try walking around and doing everyday things. Or better, kitchen knives... This was also bothering me about stairs, since, unless the stairs have very long steps, he wouldn't be able to put any of his foot down (including his toes), since he would just hit the next step with his claws. Unless he would walk sideways, or be somehow able to move his claws out of the way...

- Just how flexible are his toes? Now I'm intrigued about the things he can do with them...

- Is there any way to remotely kick you up the arse, since it's not often that I find a character that really fascinates me, but this "Zapedy" is one of them; probably because he's unusual.

If he would climb branches, he would use his hands, he has a lot or strength and balance from his Martial arts training so his grip is solid enough to grab trees, his feet and claws keeps the lower area of him secure as well.

I can't imagine glass in my soles, that must have been painful lol. Lemme me explain something that I also forgot to explain and expand on last time. When I mean in his world, I was kinda referring to as you know a fictional fantasy world but lemme explain a bit more of the walking barefeet most occasion. His world's almost like Street Fighter's world, when you watch some cartoons or endings on Street Fighter, you may notice the way you see Sagat in the game as you play with him, it's the way he walks down the street generally lol (Taped feet and hands and Muay Thai trunks) like as if he knows he's gonna fight everyday. Dee Jay goes to work shirtless, bare feet and wearing his Capoeira like bottoms. Obviously in our world that would look stupid in real life but for their world, it's normal and I kinda wanted that for Zapedy's world.

My best answer to the pens to your toes example is this: if I attached pens or kitchen knifes to my toes, and started walking and doing everyday things. It'll be hard and tedious but if I carried on doing it for the next 2 years, I'd be used to it. I'll do it like second nature and I'd probably forget that there's pens or kitchen knifes attached to my toes. So the fact that Zapedy was born with them (obviously smaller while he was a baby) and they grew as he grew so it would definitely be easy for him. And also keep in mind the anatomy difference, if the claws wasn't there, Zapedy's feet would be smaller then human feet without their toes, so the claws kinda balance it out. I've noticed when walking upstairs, I'm always on the ball of the foot and When Zapedy goes up the stair stepping on the ball of the foot, trust it wouldn't affect at all.

I wish you could, it maybe something I may have to get through myself. I'm very thankful that some people are fascinated by my character. Even if I can't get my animation done, I know I'll be getting more commissions and we'll be seeing more of soon Thanks very much man.
