Commission: The Plan
She hadn't meant for things to go down this way... Down. Literally. Like the ceiling beams that were pressing down on her. All around was debris from the explosion. Who had mixed the flux wrong? Or.... No....
Another boulder fell off to one side of the collapsed rubble causing the bottomed out squat she had been trying to push out of to become even more difficult. The chains on her wrists strained and pushed into her forearms. She had to get out of here...
"This was your plan?!" Came an angered voice from the direction of the door. And footsteps. Footsteps were good.
"Uh.... Not exactly?! I don't want to die!"
Cayman came into view holding keys.
"DO you think you can push that beam off?"
"What in the name of all the GODS do you think I'm trying to do!" Saberlin spat angrily, spittle flying from her maw, and everything coming out as a half strained growl.
"Right." Caymen said coming to from his moment of admiration for the captive. Setting the keys in his pocket loosely he helped the wolf-gryph lift the pillars the rest of the way off of herself. Each inch upward was a struggle, even for the both of them and once the beams were pushed off and back Saberlin fell forward hard to the floor. Her knees slamming to stone, and pain shooting up her legs. But being squished by the beams would have been even worse.
"Come on... Let's get you out of here..." Caymen said, an odd expression on his face.
Who was Saberlin to argue?
