Okay, this should keep people busy for a while. These were culled from the old website images, and are a mix of realistic animal fiction, talking animal "Watership Down" type books, and killer animal "Jaws" type books. Almost all of there are old, in some cases quite old. This is not everything, but a selection. I've read most (about 75%) of these (over a lifetime of reading).

Wow there's a lot of Cujo ripoffs out there o.o And that one cover would almost get you sent to jail for seeing it :P
I can recommend the Kenneth Opal bat books, those were even adapted into a really cool cartoon that was shown in Canada. I got the DVD for it and its worth seeing!

First book, only one season was made though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver.....28TV_series%29
Huge recommendation to everything from William Horwood (his mole saga is bloody EPIC), the Kine books by A.R. Lloyd and Stephen Baxters mammoth books (Mammoths on MARS, COME ON!) Also Akif Pirinccis "Felidae" is bloody brilliant, too. There is also a cartoon of this, but it's just as NSFW as the book.
Uuuuh even rare books like Martin Hocke!! (there are three and i've read them all )
Btw I notice you've not included the more modern ones:
The long series from Erin Hunter (Warriors, Seekers and Survivors), and Kathryn Lasky (Wolves of Beyond and Guardians of Ga'hoole) maybe you've not included them for the quality?
Another missing is Doglands of Tim Willocks (dog protagonist) that I think it was fine and Ramblefoot (Ken Kaufman) that had some issues). Also Belka of Furukawa Hideo was a bit diappointing.

Woah! You have a really nice collection of animal fantasy books!
There's a few that overlap my own collection:
1) The Heavenly Horse from the Outermost West
2) Piper at the Gate
3) Watership Down
4) Tailchaser's Song
5) Frightful's Mountain
6) The Wolves of Time (Part 1 and 2)
And, of course, my favourite book (the inspirational source of Lanakila) -- Catamount!

actually, looking at it bigger, that one's in there. I see several others I either have read, or have yet to read, and one that I remember seeing at a bookstore and being interested in but never actually got it. Also, I saw a movie of Fluke...and some of these might be books that disney movies are based on?
I recognize some of the titles and a handful of authors, but not any of the cover Art. I'm sure that I've read more than a few, and I've been reading for 40-odd years or so. I want to chalk the discrepancy up to older titles published in Canada often had different cover art, for a variety of reasons. Or maybe I'm just on an early decent into otter dottage.
