This is probably one of my favorite OCs that I have had commissioned :)
Admiral Kotair is a Fair Folk Noble from the tabletop rpg called Exalted.
Now he has a fire element to him because Fair Folk come from the Wyld (Infinity surrounding Creation) outside of Creation (The world). Normally if a Fair Folk walked into creation, they would start turning into stone or "Calcifying" because they have no shape and do not belong in Creation.
Now there are many different ways that Fair Folk can take shapes called Assumptions that they can enter Creation without becoming part of the decorations. One of the most common for a Noble class Fair Folk is to copy an element or even multiple ones at the same time. So fire and earth might look like they are a walking volcano, or anything you could think of.
Now he is an Admiral because he actually rides a flying whale around with a full crew and raids caravans. His jacket is actually an artifact that increases his toughness, strength, etc.
