I was upset with my lack of tail. So I made myself one. Its my first attempt at one ever. Im rather sated. All hand stitched, no pattern, i made it all up as I went. The spikes glow alpha blue in the dark, AND

I have the detachable fin!

because I didnt have the pain colours to do my frost D8 and only enough fabric to do one side of the tail fin ^^;

yea, honestly it really depends on the fabric you buy. I got the fabric, stuffing, needles, elastic, buckles, thread and paint for about 40$. but some fabric is just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over priced.
