Completed this on September 8, but I think I finished the head sometime mid August.
This is the shot that shows a bunch of minor scuffles- His brows are a little too overhanging, meaning he looks a little angry if viewed front-on, top down; his smile's a bit crooked (which personally I'm ok with, but it was unintentional), and the felt in his ears being glued down only around the edges turned out to be not-so-great an idea, because it wrinkled and stretched a bit with the flexing of the ears, which have wire inside of them for both strength and the ability to posture a bit.
He's made purely of Mendel's 3" shag fur. Nose is foam coated in latex and rubber pellets mixed into a cement that was then painted, eyes came from a bottle of Tyde, whiskers from a fiber optic lamp, ear innards are felt, the feet and hands are built on gloves and slippers with foam shaping and bulk added, and the two types of foam I used are block of high-density upholstery foam for sculpting the head and 1" thick sheets of a fairly low-density foam from Wal*Mart.
If you're interested in seeing more of him, I picture-logged the entire construction process of the head and have a gazillion in-progress shots uploaded here: http://s16.photobucket.com/albums/b.....pictures/suit/
