I never really posted pictures of all of the bicycles that I buy and sell on this site before but why not. I have about 14 right here And these are just the nice ones that I keep in my storage locker. I have about 10 at home that I just leave outside for parts or yard art. Just about all of these were bought at my local scrapyard between five and ten dollars. The two bikes in my truck bed I just bought from the scrapyard about 30 minutes before I took this pic and the two on the trailer I sold later that day for $50 each to a consignment shop where I sell a lot of them at along with the furniture that I build. since I started working on bicycles two or three years ago I've probably gone through about 50 or 60 of them. The more modern bicycles I'll fix up, customize, and paint and either keep or sell them. The older ones that are more desirable and in better condition will just get cleaned up before sell them. and the really rusty beat up ones get turned into yard art and I put a basket on them for flowers.
also I'm selling my pop up camper turned s**t haulin' trailer.

Oh nice. First thing I thought of when seeing this was to transform it like:

It's a lot of work but they go for big bucks when for sale. I just seen it and I thought it was the perfect candidate haha! :P

they do but I think it would cost even bigger bucks just to build one, judging by the price of the parts http://www.bicycledesigner.com/lowr.....er-bike-parts/
yeah that one pic you showed me, that frame was chromed. I was like "hmmmmm yeah right! ain't no way in hell" but I'm ok with a rattle can. I did the frame and wheels on this one http://1972corvette.deviantart.com/.....ired-466672914 and this one http://1972corvette.deviantart.com/.....bike-492014290
I was planning on going into auto body and I went to school for it and completed all 3 semesters. so that's where I learned to paint but after getting ran ragged in a production shop, I had to leave for a much less stressful environment. also my bike was 5 or 10 bucks and wanted to keep it. and I didn't like all that flash.
That first one a Cranbrook? Sure looks like the Cranbrook I have... (Old pic, but it's mostly the same, other than more rust in some places, and for locking it I replaced the small piece of chain I found in the road with 4' of 1/4" high-test chain and the cheap junk padlock (one of its pins fell out!) with one of those round disc shaped Master locks with some fancy boron-carbide stuff in it. Also added some band clamps to attach lights with when I go out at night. (I should take a pic of my taillight sometime...))
(Oh, and that Huffy logo comes right off the seat with a bit of acetone on a paper towel...)

that's a nice bike, I like the murdered out look it has. all ever knew was it was a modern huffy and calling it a beach cruiser. I'll have to remember that trick for the seat but that bike currently has this one's seat http://1972corvette.deviantart.com/.....-now-466681217 that I reupholstered with an old blanket.
