I believe this is the first time anyone besides me drew Seaweed.

It is marked as 1999, but sadly I cannot remember the furry name of this person.

There is a story behind this picture, and it is a part of the whole history of Seaweed.

When I first got into furry in March of 1998, I wasn't sure what I wanted to be. I got onto a small MUCK and met a fur named Tarka (whio is still around) and he suggested an otter.

At the time I had Beanie Babies, so I made my character as a Seaweed Beanie Baby, which meant she couldn't talk or anything. But a magical dragon came along and turned her into a real otter. But she still held her little piece of felt seaweed that she had as a beanie, and she tail was like seaweed at the end of it, and she had a little white star of fur where his magic touched her.

The same dragon who did that drew this for me so long ago.





I kinda want to integrate this character with Seaweed as she is now. I have wanted to do that for many years now. but I may actually do this now, at least for the older version of Seaweed.
