Different set of Bad Signs, that. This is magma chamber shift, with conversion of a hot spring to a fumarole (ergo hotter rock closer to surface) and apparently a volcanic eruption in the offing, seaward. This could wreck the island, could shatter the tunnels to the diamond mine, could just generate mild tsunamis and lava bombs hitting the island. Worst case, the natives need an evac.
