During middle 1943, american forces when in europe captured a working kubelwagen and were able to convince him to work with the allied forces through to the end of the war. Eventually giving himself the name Wayne, he lived through the war and made it back proudly to america where some time later he was allowed to become a citizen and live the rest of his life comfortably under his own rule and power.
