Second of twelve eventual covers for the FNC. A set of foxes, the male a red fox, and the femme a dessert fox, sitting on the local water tower in a small country town. The FNC name is represented as graffiti, and the publication number is the small sign (91).
The water tower is posterboard painted to look like rust and rivets. Behind it is a framework of boxes and foamcore. The supports for the tower are basswood and paperboard. The walkway is foamcore with a thin piece of basswood glued to the edge to make it look finished. The railing is basswood, carefully bent and held in position with foamcore supports not visible in the scene, and tensioned with blue tape. The angled pieces on the rail are also basswood, hot glued, and the joints covered with paperboard 'plates'. The sign is paper - I found a suitable type of sign online, added the 91 and some rust speckling in GIMP.
The male fox is a GI Joe clone with a custom head and tail. The femme is a barbie with custom clay work on the head and tail. The shirt is actually from a Ken doll.
