Drink it more slowly, and the carbonation will not build up to the point of pain, and if you can burp more.

if it hurts then don't drink it. No sense in hurting yourself. Stick with Juice or something that your stomach can take better

Seriously though...soda is not GOOD for you and if you prefer to avoid things that AREN'T good for you, than just stay away from soda. If you really wanna try somethin' though, find something with no caffeine or sugar...or both. It is hard enough on your system to get used to a cold carbonated drink without the other bad stuff, especially if your more used to hot drinks. I myself can't do hot drinks.

When in doubt, try a mixture of Seven-Up and ginger ale. (Not ginger beer; there's a difference.) It soothes the stomach.

Here's a future tip then, don't drink white soda (Stuff like sierra mist, 7up, sprite) when you're hungry. It hurts a lot, like someone punching you in the stomach >.<
