Gift art for -wolfgirl ! This is Max. And also my first time drawing a ram.
And yes, those horns took ages, haha xD
I tried something different with my values, to try and restrain them in the greyzone. Was a lot of fun, and I really liked the effect :> Might do this more often, I think it gives a more realistic feel to it.

The tutorials (narrated ones) are a bit old, so you might have to search a bit for them. Have fun! :D

I'm particularly fond of the palette, Looks like it could be a tintype. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12963553/
I love how it turned out!
It was awesome to see you draw it and teach so many things in stream.
How you managed to make such a dark character look well lit still amazes me.
His face looks very well structured, but i don't understand why he has no iris (i mean the black dot) in his eyes o.0?
anyway, thank you very much for your awesome streams!

Thank you! It was a very chatty stream, haha! But I appreciate you agreeing with my thoughts, they aren't the usual inspiring rant you normally get haha. I'm more like "hard work = good looking art".
Ahh! Yes! I did put in an iris there, but he ended up looking so stern. I made his eyes look more cloudy to give him a softer look.
And thanks for joining! :D

Aww, thank you! :D
This was around 6500-7000 on the longest side. However, I do tend to stay at around one layer to avoid Photoshop from lagging, but as you've already pretty good at working with limited layers, I doubt you'll find that a challenge :) Also, try to put your "syncing programs", such as your backup, googledrive/dropbox, adobe cloud and so on on pause. That usually helps photoshop at coping with such large canvases!
I rarely work below 4000. But that is just a personal preference. If I could, I'd work at around 9000, which I sometimes do but I'm asking a lot from Photoshop when working on such large sizes, so I scale it down a thousand pixels or two :3

Thank you! I'm glad you think so! I will try me best to develop it further as there is a lot of work to be done.
Damn, I'm really happy you have replied, and in a such encouraging way!) Was analysing your art a lot to make some good tips for myself. It helped me a lot when I didn't know where to move next.
