I have a feeling Becky invited Rex to come "beat the crud out of them," and she's hatched an ambush plan to do something in the next few strips that will ensure Rex never comes near our heroes again, earning back Tay's trust... amongst other things...

Perhaps. :P It's definetely in Becky's nature to be nice, even to bullies, but it's also in her nature to stand up for her friends and to do clever and cunning plans. However it works out, I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next, and how it affects Tay and Becky's relationship.
