Othin is Death / Grim Reaper

Ordinary people cannot see him. Every time someone is committing murder, he is essentially there as the person committing it to take the life. Since so many people die in a day he has other followers, like him, to help take lives. This is so that the number of deaths need in a day can be reached.

Othin's only days off are on the Day of the Dead, October 31, November 1 and November 2. On these days he recruits people who are stuck in purgatory. Since those stuck in purgatory cannot go to heaven/hell they will be useful to Othin as grim reapers.

Othin personally doesn't like taking lives, he wishes he wasn't Death either. Society fears death and generally views death negatively, after all no one wants to die. This leaves him to be most gloomy and depressed, knowing that the world dislikes him. Othin is generally quiet and keeps his serious tone; it's hard to catch him laugh or smile.

He has a love interest with Margret who is Life /Mother Nature, though he knows the love he has for her is forbidden. He still tends to write love poems about her but they turn out to be romantically disturbing revolving about death (lol). He loves her and yet is jealous of her for having the ability to create life.

His cloak is very important to him, it has the ability to view him in flesh. He still looks pale and dead looking, but without out that cloak he is nothing but bones. Also he cannot reproduce, because y'know he's death.
