Well, it's like, it's alright to not like things, but if other people still like something you don't, you can maybe express why you don't like it.... and it might even be a pretty good reason. (and yeah, I understood. X3)

But that doesn't mean that people, who still enjoy something have to stop just because some other people don't.

I used to get myself all worked up in politics of things around here, and it just dawned on me that I shouldn't care. I just come here, I post art, I enjoy the community. That's it. I just keep my reach out on other sites too, for back up. That's all. :3

It's very noble to just throw away a part of the community as a statement, rather than be a part of it and just distance yourself from matters that don't really effect you, I suppose.

i don't see what's noble about it, ditch all your admirers and fans even possibly friends depending on your and their devotion to a chosen site.

the reason pointing out not using FA annoys the fuck out of me is most of the time is when i ask to see some one's art. without fail every time, they will point out they don't use FA. and almost as if to make sure i got the point their making, they don't seem to want to link me the other gallery until i have to point out i still need a link regardless of their stupid morals

Well yuh, I was being sarcastic about noble thing. I mean, like I've said before. There's nothing really wrong with choosing just not to use this site. Their reasons are probably valid for one reason or another, but when someone tries wearing the statement like a badge of honor, it gets pretty silly.

I honestly don't care if people like or hate FA. I just wish that the haters don't have to constantly point out how much they hate FA and wish to see it perish all the damn time! Sure, I may not like FA myself, but that doesn't mean I would like to see it die someday. I still keep using FA because this site is where I've found so many awesome people over the years, and nothing's gonna change that. I do have a Weasyl page, too, but that's more like a backup plan in case FA is really dying; I hardly post anything on Weasyl, and use it mainly to keep following artists who had left FA for whatever reasons why they left FA in the first place.

That's the thing. I'd really rather not see FA die. I'd like to see it do well. Though I've been really cynical and usually laugh about all the drama that occurs here, I've really just realized that a lot of issues just aren't worth gettin torn up over. The older I get, the more I realize this.

I still love the community here. I meet lots of people through FA. Plus, my largest following is here. I have no plans on leaving. Even if the site stays exactly as it is. It's functional and does what I need.

People feel way too much pride over the fact of just not using a site and love to let everyone know how proud they are. BUT on the other hand, I understand the reasons why many did leave, but the catch is, they just aren't assholes about it. They stated their reasons and just moved on. There's nothing wrong with that.
