I never really played Fallout 3 before, and I thought maybe I should have, so I got it and FWE. Oh boy.
Pictured from left to right, Willow (who become a follower in a mod) and my character. I always wanted to play a character who's stats were completely different than the cookie-cutter stuff I always punch in, and I'm paying for it. Charisma through the roof (10), but enough endurance (3) so that he flat out dies in two strikes from a pool cue, no joke.

If you liked it, then I'd recommend Fallout New Vegas too. The main story is fantastic and there are so many factions and a lot more dark humor, obscure references and really well made side quests. Some of which could be feature film material, one in particular seriously gave me goosebumps and had me thinking of it long after. A friend of mine IRL did the same mission and we are still discussing it now and then when we drink !
And kudos for making a character with unusual stats, I did the same thing and didnt regret it at all! I maxed out int/explosives and managed to start killing those huge demon claw creatures really early in the game.

Getting 3 with FWE was because I had played New Vegas out and to the ground! I heard 3 had a better atmosphere in terms of "wow they really broke the place, huh" with the scenery, minimal factions / government and all that. Comparing them both, I wish I could have the gameplay and damage changes from NV put into 3. I was never really huge on Western stuff either...
NV has one of the coolest DLCs / stories I've played though. Lonesome Road was too cool, and it changed how I played through the rest of the game.
Funky stats are the best! It makes it way more fun and interesting!
