Honestly ... I doubt the Inspector could really handle himself without Penny and Brain watching his back. Meanwhile, Ms. Hackwrench is quite self sufficient. She could crawl inside his trench coat and start dismantling his limbs before he could say "Go Go Gadget Mousetrap". One on One, the mouse outwits the man here by a wide margin.

Gadget needs to be serious to win, though Miss Hackwrench has a tendency to space out at times, so it may not be as one-sided as everyone thinks. XD

The mouse would probably win, but I think really it would come down to talks and be resolved peacefully as there both peace keepers.

My money is on the mouse. I mean, she's smart on her own, small, agile, and like many others have said, could easily get in and start taking him apart. If the Inspector was smarter...and could get the right gadget to activate, he would possibly stand a chance.

If Penny and Brain got involved his chances go up, but if the two of them got involved, I'd wager the other Rescue Rangers would get involved to even the odds.

My money's on Gadget...

I have to cheer on our clumsy Inspector...even though our brainy mouse is a genius inventor...Inspector Gadget always prevails through accidental use of a proper gadget (he's always stopped Dr. Claw through clumsiness)

Then again...seeing as how they both stop badguys....Dr. Claw and Fatcat for example...I'm willing to bet that Ms. Gadget Hacketwrench will be more then willing to actually just talk with the dear Inspector and see about improving both sides capabilities in stopping crime

IG's always won due to having backup and sheer dumb luck. I don't think he's ever managed by skill alone in the original cartoon.

Mouse Gadget built death traps for salesmen, made a tinkertoy tank, and has built a number of things that could easily be altered for increased lethality. Not to mention tons of explosives. And being rodents, the RRs seem to think nothing of casual petty theft so long as it's for something like food or 'the greater good'.

I can't see IG ever crossing that line. MG's just a little more grey on the black and white morality scale. In terms of equipment, physical size, and ability, the battle is FAR in IG's favor, but that mouse is dynamite. Hackwrench would take him apart.

I'd have to go with the Inspector. Gadget's a fave, but she'd end up in some sort of homage' to the Mousetrap boardgame. Not to mention the chance of losing SAN points by trying to figure out how Insp.Gadget functions.

I vote for the good Inspector. Victory by accident. Though he can be dangerous on purpose sometimes (saving Penny, almost catching Dr. Claw in one episode via car fight, going after his doctor's kidnappers, etc.). And Gadget Mouse is an inventer of her own...Wouldn't surprise me to find an EMP grenade made of rubber bands and Luminol.

Funny story, actually: I wanted to do a more competent and novice Gadget, one that only recently got his cybernetics and has no idea how to use 'em, leading to things like punching a hole in his wall while reaching for the snooze button.
