In loving memory and a way for us to say Good Bye friend, we love and miss you more than mere words can say.
I think about him each day, it hurts some days, but.. I have the strength of my friends.
The artist who created this masterful work of my dearly beloveds passing had this to say.
"It was one October 19 2007 that the artist known as Big Daddy Cruel passed away. I finally drew the picture that had been stewing in my head since that day, and I'd been unable to put onto paper because I'd keep tearing up whenever I tried.
The picture is finally finished. You can find it here: [link]
I finally told myself to just draw it. To stop stewing about it and DRAW the damned picture. The date I drew it was... October 19 2008. This was not planned. I hadn't checked or even remembered the exact date. But somehow it came through on THAT day.
A year later I still miss him. I still tear up a bit talking about him. But this is my way of finally saying goodbye I think. And I'm glad I was finally able to do it now.
If anyone wishes a larger copy of this, please let me know and I'll send it to you via e-mail. Also, if anyone can find a way to forward this to his family, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you most kindly Tasha, you are a saint among the flock.

Dear BDC;
You only knew me from FA... but you made me smile, made me laugh, made me sit up and take notice of you - not just for your art's content, but of the quality and love-of-life of the characters your portrayed.
Your girl, Cheska, came to me for a helping hand - and I can't help but think that maybe your time with her was a huge factor in her choosing me to speak with, even if only briefly at that time. Your influence, no doubt.....
So Thank You... not just for many hours of entertaining art... but for teaching your girl who to trust, and how....
...and for giving me a friend... a sister-in-arms. I'll take good care of helping her when she needs it.
Matane, Big Daddy..... Give a little squeeze to Fujin while you're there.....
--and Dream of us.
(PS. It's OK... she always did like chains. I won't be jealous.)
