Yes, I did draw it. I drew it with pencil in a sketch pad then scanned it in and colored over it, just to practice stuff.

I have no idea what that means lol.

DPI refers to the amount of "dots per inch" i believe and the more dots the more clearer the image is, but more the dpi is the larger the file size is.
say you scanned something in at 50 dpi its gonna not be as good if you scanned the same image at say 150 or 200 DPI.
but the file size will be larger so if scanning art in i tend to go 150 -200 dpi and save it as png in stead of jpej (jpg).

i had no idea at first so no worries, I tend to do a mass scan then burn to a DVD to save space and as an archival thing for later on. and why i suggested PNG is that fact that you get a better image quality than JPG.

I will have to try that. I actually wanna take this image and fix a few things and do an actual digital image of it. Like I wanna make her muzzle shorter and her arm a bit thicker toward the top.

no problem, it takes a while to get used to looking at a screen than a piece of paper. but you can do it. also don't for get to flip your canvas every one and a while it helps.

I just learned to flip my canvas around like last week lol. It definitely helps to get lines a bit better. XD

I wish I was! I still feel like a complete newbie. I just got my tablet like two weeks ago and just started poking around with sai a couple days ago. I am really brand new with all of this stuff lol.

well that the thing its an never ending learning experince, your gonna learn new stuff and more ways to do the same thing than ever, so don't get discouraged okay.

I try not to. Sometimes it gets me down to see how behind I am, but I keep telling myself everyone started somewhere...
