I could pick out influences from at least thirty popular songs in that.

First one that smacked me in the face was "Kiss You All Over" by Exile, referenced in the second line. :P

Everything I write I usually write to classic rock lol. Most of my poems are original lyrics based on somebody else's music lol. I'm not -that- original.

Thanks though i'm curious as to what you think the Easter eggs are. I just wrote the first thing that came to mind that fit the vocal pattern of the song I was listening to.

Both subconsciously and consciously. I grew up in the 80's and spend a lot of time listening to 80's music. My character is 80's glam rock themed and even though I listen to a ton of different genre's i'm always going to be a glam rocker at heart. That's why everything I write sounds like a cheesy 80's rock song lol. It's because so much of who and what I am was shaped by cheesy 80's rock.

I am totally fine with 80's rock. I don't find it cheesy whatsoever.
