I know this is only a reaction to maybe 2 or three people who talk to me on steam but I have to believe there are other people like me who will get a chuckle.
I can safely say that I haven't followed 'actual comics in about a decade. my only interaction with them where some left over tattered comics that my brother had. can't even remember what they were about except for the star trek one...
I just have no interest in comics, except for everything about tank 666, haven't read the issue but everything I hear about it is metal as shit and awesome.
As to the movies I haven't been to see ANY movie in about a year and a half, it probably has more to do with not having anybody to go see movies with atm than being interested in anything (which I'm getting less and less interested in a lot of movies coming out.) the last comic movie I went to see in theater's was the amazing spider man 'reboot' thingy. after the cranes thing I just couldn't take any of them seriously anymore.
if you wondering what comic movie I enjoyed? Rocketeer...
yeah I know shut up.
I didn't intend for kame to look like she's reporting.

Dude, Rocketeer was the shiiiiiit~
Also, I can kinda understand and relate to the comic thing and such. Also, I can relate a bit to the movie thing, but...I tend to be a bit more liberal and accepting of most movies as a whole, save for anything M. Night puts his grubby little fingers on.
...that being said, sweet mercy, you look sexy!
Also...is it still okay to talk to you about DRAWING comics and stuff? :3c

High fives for Rocketeers!
as for movies really, I just dislike movies where their ONLY selling point is synthesized suspense tragedy and all action. nobody seems human anymore in movies just cardboard cutout characters.
I realize Rocketeer kinda falls into that hole as well as my other favorite movie from that sort of genre Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. but they had a style and a sense of adventure and hope and inspiration that didn't get overused by every single summer blockbuster.
and yes me drawing comics is fine :3 and stuff.

He. Yeah, I know how you feel, more or less. Though I will say, while I haven't been to the movies in some time, I do still read avidly. Might just be because I like dragons, I'm loving Tui T. Sutherland's "Wings of Fire series."
You know, about Kame.... I have to admit, she does look rather charming these days :3 I wasn't hugely interested early on but lately... she's growing on me
