While the Imperial Fleet has only a handful of non human officers and maybe two of the rank captain or higher. The corp of stormtroopers are full of non humans from recruits up to general and even planetary governors. Vash Bendix however is not of any prestigious rank outside of the Madalors Bane. Hamza has ordered, against the objections of the captain, to assign and promote Vash and a few others to be a personal guard of Hamza. The way in which they were chosen has many in the Empire questioning the sanity of Hamza but few openly speak their opinions. Vash was new to the stormtrooper corp and the ways of the Empire in Hamza's sector of space. He was cunning and crafty but never used his skills for nefarious reason. When he was chosen hamza picked him because he was so unlike any other trooper in the corp that this amused Hamza. He ordered a suit of clone armor to be made and it be made to stand apart on the field of battle. Vash now escorts hamza everywhere they go and is the first to calm his sector commander down in meetings when no other would dare even try.
