Tubby Tofu

No funky jokes this time. This one has a story! :D (No not as in "character story". Our sonas don't have such things)



My precious little sheepy Tofuturtle always was a great fan of MorningPanda. 

You could say, he is her big hero/rolemodel/icon or something similar. She looked up to him and found immense inspiration in his art.

Naturally it was one of her biggest wishes to one day get a drawing of her sona from him.

This was made rather complicated, due to MorningPanda having a rule, that you can only commission him over dA and only ever taking two slots at a time.

So you could say, getting a commission slot from him is rather hard, especially for FA peeps.

I, beeing the stupidly fearless twat I am, noted him on here regardless.

He agreed, that since I have no real other option of contacting him (I didn't log into dA for years... don't even remember my password to be honest), it'd be fine to make an exception and to commission him on here.

I didn't tell Tofu anything about it. Total surprise.

Fast forward by some days.

MP showed me a WIP of the commission and told me, it'd be finished later that evening/night.

Coincidentally Tofu planned to stream for the very first time that day.

And even more coincidentally, he send me a note telling me that he finished it while she was streaming.

I bombed a link to it in the streamchat, pretty much derailing everything immediately. 

The pure joy that sprayed out of this little sheep, was just incredible. I haven't seen her that happy in years.

And before she could calm down, MorningPanda himself popped into streamchat.

What happened after that is hard to describe, but "Firework of joy" or "Near death experience", would fit it.

So MP stayed for a while, talked with everyone. Made stupid little jokes, like everyone else and after some time, went on to continue his work.

When the stream was finished, she was so exhausted that she went to sleep immediately.

The next morning she woke up singing. I NEVER saw her do that. 

Usually she wakes up with a groan and isn't of any use before she had her morning coffee and cigarette... most times not even after that.

But when I thought that that was the ultimate level of "jolly Tofu" I'd get, I was completely wrong.

'cause he had watched her on here.

She just went to check her notifications as usual and I suddenly was deafened by sounds of incredible joy once more. 

Damn, that guy is amazing. Not only as an artist, but also as a person in general. O^O







Tofu is 's sona and therefor belongs to her.
