This is an initial design I just created today for a new client of mine 
mh47e. The aircraft will be appearing on the cover art I am doing for the upcoming RPG "Roan". link
This is aircraft will be on a catapult preparing to launch from an airship which is flying in part of a battle group. Now this is no Hindenburg type airship, but instead it is more of a "Last Exile" type airship. Gun turrets and all!
The viewpoint will of being in the catapult launch station that runs right alongside the catapult. When it launches the plane will pass only a few feet above the operators heads.
When I submitted this design today the client liked it but felt it was too sleek, and wished for the aircraft to be bulked up some more. So, after discussing it with the client I will make some revisions and submit a revised design in a day or so. This is all part of creation process when working with a client.

I have to admit that while its a very nice plane, for a bomber, it really isn't bulky enough. The way the design is now the bomb bay would be rather thin and not able to carry much of a load. Well, it if carries the bombs under the wings on the other hand, the wings could be a bit thicker.
Yes, maybe a very svelte medium but you wound have to be very generous with your definition of a "medium" then. In WWII US Naval equivalents it would be the in the class as the Grumman TBF Avenger, except that the Avenger has an even greater payload and can do it with just one engine.
