its such a nice kit but mine fell appart every time you looked at it. those teeny tiny balljoints can be a nightmare D:

there really aren't that many tiny ball joints though.

just in the articulated hands and the skirt armor, those were the trouble spots with mine

well yeah. the skirt armor is fine but the hands suck. later Real Grades have dedicated weapon holding hands. I always use the closed fists.

i do as well, my next real grade im going for the most ultra fiddly one x3 the zeta

that's the one that transforms. you're gonna have a hard time with that one.

i know but i want a transforming zeta gundam, i plan on getting the master grade too

you'd probably just be better off with the master grade. Real Grade is way too small for intricate stuff like that.

yeah that's definitely why you would want an RG kit. the problem that I've encountered with the RG kits is that the inner frame especially where ball joints are located is extremely fragile. when you build it be sure to never pop out a ball joint or it will never stay in. also the instructions will tell you to bend the limbs after you finish building each one, don't bend them until you've assembled the entire figure. I've popped out so many ball joints by bending the arms and legs before I put the whole kit together.

oh! and BTW I just got Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam but I'm going to wait until I rewatch the original series before I watch Zeta. also I should be getting RG Gundam MK-2 in the mail soon. ^_^

the rg mk2 is litterally the best RG kit ive ever played with and built. that thing is so solid and sturdy and looks insanely beautiful

I really can't wait. I've heard lots of people say that it's best to get a second kit just to display the inner frame right next to the fully build Gundam. and I could be wrong about this but don't the instructions for the Gundam MK-2 tell you to assemble the entire inner frame first?

well regardless I'm going to be very happy with it.

you should, the only thing you need to watch out for is when your cutting the mesh tubing for the pipes on the knees and the backpack, heat the ends or seal them somehow so the mesh dosent frey out on you

yeah I've done that before. you use a candle and you dip the end in wax and then heat it up. but I'm not sure if I'll need to do that. we'll see. I'm getting Exia and Gundam MK-2 tomorrow.

exia is good, no real issues with him you need to watch out for but on my mk 2 all the piping fraied and i had to fix it

does the AEUG version of MK-2 come with those optional parts or just the Titans version?

seems the AEUG version didn't include those extra parts from the Titans version.

it was suppose to be extra vents for the legs.
