I always imagined everyone I knew as walking just a few steps ahead of me, while everyone kept moving forward somehow I just couldn't keep up, I thought "Maybe this is where I belong" inferior, slow, I was always standing on a shadow that seemed to be trapped beneath my feet. It was...it wasn't depressing, I didn't know if this was good or bad so I made the best of that, I told myself that this spot, where darkness dwells is a place only I can exist in. I was born on this very spot, so naturally I was immune to depression, loneliness, and emotion altogether. I felt different, I was so happy...
However I still stood behind everyone else until I realized the reason I was so far behind was because I waited for everyone else to take a step forward before I did. Knowing that I decided to take my own step forward and walk side by side with the human race, all along I will carry that shadow, I wasn't afraid. I can't fear loss if i've never had anything or anyone to lose, I don't have to love if I never had any to begin with, I can survive alone...since i've always been alone. "Do not lead for I will not follow, do not follow for I will not lead," I like that, and I will live by it. With all the factors which control this world Respect means the most.
To you my few and precious friends, though you're with me I am along and always on my own. That is simply how I wish to live, but if you need me i'll come.
Having two fursona's is bitchin! And as usual this is to celebrate my new ability to comprehend coloring....also...I don't smoke..it just fits that characteristic.
Also let me explain these comments, i'm not emo...my life is pretty good just working A LOT moar. However these are where my head was when I created these two, I was talking to Straydog and figured the contrast in both were simply two parts of a whole. I simply couldn't create one being to represent myself, to people I don't really care for i'm Isanji, and to my friends i'm Momoki, neither are a mask or a front, simply how I respond to certain people. Both are me and I only know how to be....me. =/

I ran across quote once, and I'll be damned if I can remember who said it right now..."We are all alone our entire lives, from birth to death, sometimes though, we have company that walks with us in our solitude for a time...". I know there's more to it, but thats all I can remember right now...just made me think of it.
