New rendition of my take on Balerion the Black Dread, using his flame to melt the swords surrendered by the enemies of his rider Aegon the Conqueror! Aegon conquered Westeros and united of the seven kingdoms under his rule. Standing nearby, he and his master blacksmiths look on. The hammering would take fifty-nine days to shape the mass of a thousand swords into that of the twisted chair; the seat of which all future kings would rule. It is said that the flames of Balerion were black in color, but I always thought it better that it was the dark suffocating smoke which spewed from his mouth in such volume which gave it that appearance.
