R34's aren't available for import here yet without a lot of expense

It's not easy to import them here either as they are too old to be imported as a used import yet not old enough to be imported as a classic.

It's about age, 25 years or older is importable (to the US). Newer cars can be brought in through Show and Display, but it's far more restrictive and expensive.

I did in fact, used to be the proud owner of an R33 GTR V-spec, got rid of it a few years ago, it was great, was totally standard in appearance, but had a steel head gasket, steel turbos and a different ECU, it was around 400BHP, I do miss it rofl... my friend had an R34 which was really nice, he spent a lot on it but kept it looking standard. We used to go to Santa Pod a lot to see the drag racing etc, was great!

I'd love to have a Skyline. Of any generation. Was really cool getting to see one. There is a black one that lives around here as well. I believe we can have R33's here easy. And any of them prior to that for decent money.

My R33 was black! there used to be a crowd of us who had them, we used to drive around together - was a giggle, my friend who I bought my R33 from was one of the first people in the UK to get the new GTR a few years back - but I always preferred the R34

The main problem with Skylines (in the UK anyway) is that most of them have been owned and wrecked by complete cunts - terrible body kits, shit paint jobs, awful addons, as a result it's very very difficult to find a pristine standard version that hasn't been raped, but if i didn't live in the middle of London, I'd be happy to have one again - brilliant cars <3
