As the text puts it, she bought a book that was full of spells, and one spell she seems to have taken a liking to is the one that lets herself become detachable at any point, like a Firey from Labyrinth (look it up) Eva's also a bit carefree with her magic, finding it to be quite cool and enjoyable, even if it does freak out some folks. She's a very friendly individual and quite the optimist.
