Commission done for a client of their great and mighty dragon character named Tarkustralszar. He is the epitome of a classic D&D minded dragon, mixed with a bit of Smaug-like sociopathy and dramatic flair. An enormous, egocentric and vindictive force to be reckoned with, extremely intelligent and inexplicably bored. Don't plan on keeping your treasure or magical artifacts.

Protip: Don't shoot arrows at him.

Working with Tarkus as a client has been an incredibly awesome experience, and I feel so lucky to have been able to have my own go at such an awesome character and work with someone so involved in the creative process and yet extremely relaxed in demeanor. Literally, the perfect client.

The castle was HEAVILY inspired by Burg Kreuzenstein, which is a castle in Austria that I would LOVE to visit some day, its gorgeous.
