Ohai, friends!
Last week was busy busy. Most notably among this and that, was a forgotten deadline to get artwork submitted for the 2015 Anthrocon, Conbook... or whatever it's for... but for Anthrocon.
This year, the theme is vikings. And so,
MidnightDraven and decided early on that we'd do a collab. HOWEVER, I forgot the deadline was on the 1st, and not... mid-month? sometime. Totally my bad, and a likely headache for my friend with an already hectic schedule and full to-do-list.
Can't thank her enough for bustin' her butt in getting this badboy coloured. There's no question that it was a rush job for us both, and yes, I AM indeed aware of historical inaccuracies (I can trace a branch of my family tree all the way back to first generation vikings). However, eye-candy is eye-candy. And this came out lookin' really great!

Art belongs to the creatures.
PS If you're watching me, you're already watching her, I'm sure. But if not, go give
MidnightDraven some love!

Oh my, that equine lady with sharp teeth and claws.
It's strangely fitting actually. There's a certain myth/legend around a creature called a Water Horse, which describes a creature bearing the resemblance of a horse except possessing claws instead of hooves and carnivorous teeth...and being a Scottish Legend! Either way, I'd be pretty terrified if there was an entire race of her kind in that era.
Anywho, you did gorgeous all things considered with the late notice. Just in case, I'm sorry if I was the cause of distracting your occupying your time to the point your schedule slipped. =P

Hah, yes, Pandora is a fun and interesting character to draw. I never tire of it.
And no, your commissions did not distract me from anything. I just totally spaced on the deadline. I thought it was mid-month. So actually, I apologize that THIS piece distracted me from the work I'm doing for you. As always though, I think everything I'm working on for you will be well worth the wait.
