Crossing by a Mother's Love bush will activate it. Dying will regenerate you at the last bush activated. Plenty will be sprinkled about the levels.

Mistle's Thistles count as lives. She's sacrificing a bit of herself after all.

On easy, lives are infinite. On normal, lives are few. On hard, you only get one life and there are no thistles. On super hard, THERE ARE NO CHECKPOINTS.

Maybe. Gotta figure out how game modes work.
