Got another epic sketch drawn and coloured by 
Commissar-K of Shark Garrus as a Fire Warrior. Had a real shift from Space Marines to Imperial Guard and Tau recently.
Since Tau take pretty much anyone in regardless of their religious beliefs, gender and stuff, I guess they'd take in a symbiotic rubbershark :V

mhmm bow down to the broadsides :P those shoulder mounded cannons are amazing shame though they don't get the blast shot like hammerhead only solid but that's still normally 1 hit high chance of kill most things XD used to have a good sizable tau army myself had to sell it though
Haha wasn't me who did the art, Commissar-K did that, but as for the rubber shark that's just my character haha. I'm sure the Tau would accommodate a rubber shark with something to stop him melting if he was to fight in their ranks :P
Also I was under the impression Tau were already good at killing stuff, usually before it gets close :P
