well since Chris had a birthday a few days back, thought I'd make this burger as a kinda b'lated BDgift... so... in honor'a m'baconminded bistro bud may I present 'The Tower' bacon cheeseburger!
I tend ta do slight variations of basically the same thing when it comes ta makin' these... jus' depends on what m'in the mood fer an what's on hand...
ingredients:
1 hamburger bun
1 quarter pound beef patty
5 strips of thick Honey Bourbon bacon
1 slice american cheese
1 slice pepperjack cheese
1 slice white onion
2 slices of tomato
2 slices of dill pickle
condiments:
mayo
mustard
this one was made with 1 beef patty an 5 thick slices of honey bourbon bacon that I jus' let natural-curl cook stead'a straigh-cook like I do most bacon so the bacon is left nice, thick an with a meatier, juicier consistency...about 2-3 mins fried but cookin' times may vary.
an while this ain't a double burger, it still has a formidable size/weight ta it so ya'd better keep a firm grip on this while ya eat it or it'll go 'splodin' on ya... ;)
