Kotu brings Rich to Maru's restaurant, but suddenly is called in to deliver an important package and tells him that'll be back and just wait inside the restaurant for him. The shota was mistaken for a customer once he entered, and thinking that the service was free, he goes ahead and orders his meal without Kotu with him.
Maru checks in to make sure his meal was okay, and even after some good feedback, the shota was unable to pay for the meal since Kotu didn't provide anything of that sort to him. So Maru ate the poor shota, clearly irked about not getting paid after he put so much effort and passion in his cooking.
Luckily though, Kotu arrived moments later to convince Maru to let him out since he was with him. Thankfully Rich wasn't neither harmed nor digested in the few moments in Maru's belly.
