Here is the updated version of the Mount Wolf Road pic done this spring. I have re done his style, and colors to reflect more from the Dakkota Wolf suit. :)

You know...I'm not sure it's really fair to compare and contrast the two versions of this pic. They both look equally good, and each have their own highlights and differences. But still...
One thing I am curious about (if you don't mind me asking): As the artist who created the pictures, which of the two do you feel is the ultimate representation of Dakkota? I've heard of artists morphing their characters as they age to suit the vision they have of them at the time, and I'm wondering if creating the fursuit version of this character had any influence on how you see in your mind's eye who Dakkota ultimately looks like.
I know I probably didn't make any sense with that question, but I hope you get the general idea... #^.^#

good question... If you go in my gallery and look back over all the art pics i dont of Dakkota since the beginning, you can see he has "evolved" in each of them over time. This pic, is simmilar to the original one done last spring, but he now more matches the suit, which has become the "final" evolution stage" sort of speak.. of him. Any further pics i do of him will have his markings and style as in this one and the suit. ( other than the addition of some native indian pendants, bands, headress, etc. ) though his signature red & blue warpaint on each side of his muzzle and his two-feathers on the back of his head are in most all the pics of him. Only his coloring and fur markings have changes a little over time. :)
And I'm certainly looking forward to these future pics...especially those of him fully garnered in native indian apparel.
BTW, on a random note...3 version of pic + 3 tabs + proper positioning = great random switching fun!
(Old G - New G - Old G - New G - NEWWD!! - Old G - NEWWD!! - New G - Old G - NEWWD!!)
I know...I'm so easily amused... :-D
