Alrighty, gonna try this interactive again. I've got a few ideas I really wanna play with and I shall try to be more timely with this one. Pokemon will probably not appear, so hopefully it will appeal to a larger audience. Thanks for taking the time to read and whatnot. I'm also looking for an icon to use, preferably a headshot of Rasko. If you're interested in contributing, I appreciate it! Finally, please, do more than vote. I'd like some feedback, what you would enjoy to see, what you didn't like, etc. Help me provide a better experience for you! Enjoy!
Rasko's Modern Life - Ch 1
With a miserable groan, you throw your arm over your eyes, shielding them from the bright sun as it penetrates the forest canopy. You don't remember much about the night before, except for yet another night on the run after being chased out of the town you had called your hunting grounds for almost a year, and seeking refuge in the woods to escape your pursuers.
Flicking your ears to clear them of dried bits of leaves, you slowly clamor to your feet. Bits of dirt and broken blades of grass are stuck to your pale grey scales, and there are several twigs tangled in your already messy blue mane. As your tail swishes lightly across the forest floor, you reach down next to where you were laying and pick up the sack containing your favorite headset and the metallic blue Ipod that you normally listen to your tunes with. A loud growl from your stomach demands your attention and you dig through the sack, discarding several empty bottles of soda and a multitude of empty wrappers from various snack foods and candy bars. "Well Rasko," you say aloud to nobody, "it looks like we're going to have to find a new place to grab a bite to eat."
After your morning stretches, you decide to head off in search of a meal. You're in a forest, surely there's wildlife or maybe even a lost hiker or two. A layer of dried, fallen leaves crunch under your feet as you walk, the only other sound to accompany the whistles of the birds in the trees as they warn their brethren of your approach. Man, this is harder than you had anticipated; it's been a while since you've had to hunt in the wilderness!
Eventually, hunger gets the better of you and with a discouraged sigh, you take your place atop a large grey boulder. The sun continues to beat down through the leaves but you simply close your eyes and enjoy the warmth against your scales. You rest for several minutes before jumping off the rock and digging around the base. As much as the thought disgusts you, maybe there are some bugs or something hiding in the mud...
Without warning, you hear a twig snap nearby. Looking up cautiously, you examine your surroundings and find nothing out of the ordinary. "Probably just my imagination..." you mutter before returning to your dig. You've barely touched your claws to the dirt when another twig snaps. Feeling like you're no longer alone, you tense up, your ears straightening as you anticipate another twig snap.
The silence of the forest is broken as you get not another twig snap, but another creature landing atop you from boulder. The force of the impact sends you rolling until you collide against a tree. Your head spinning, you jump to your feet as quick as you can and stare at your attacker.
A large bipedal raptor-like creature stares at you with a sinister smile, a thick black tongue running across her lips hungrily. Her purple and white scales are accented by a bushy purple mane running from her forehead to the tip of her tail and cruel red predatory eyes glare at you through black-framed glasses perched behind a small horn at the tip of her snout. She begins to circle you, chuckling softly to herself, each step causing an enlarged, sinister black claw to tap the ground softly. "Well well well, it's been a while since I've had an intruder in my forest..."
"Hey, look, I'm not looking for any problems," you reply with a nervous chuckle. "I'm a little lost and just trying to find my way home. If you could point me towards the nearest Burrito King, I'll be out of your hair. Maybe we can even split a meal or something. The name's Rasko." You offer your biggest smile and extend your left forepaw in friendship.
"Well, Rasko," the raptor practicaly spits your name out as though it were used chewing tobacco, "my name is Bleck. I'm the queen of this forest and everything here belongs to me. I am insulted that you claim to not be looking for any problems, yet you steal my property." She beckons with her snout towards the leaves and twigs tangled in your mane.
"OH COME ON! That's just ridiculous!" You sigh and start grooming yourself as fast as you can, hoping to appease the raptor.
"The penalty for theft..." Bleck grins and snaps her jaws at you hungrily. "...is death." With a screech, the raptor pounces, her claws outstretched and eager to tear at your flesh. Luckily, you're more prepared for this than you were for her initial ambush and you dodge to the side. This crazy bitch is seriously going to try and kill you over something completely stupid!!
Your eyes look around in desperation, eager for some way out of this mess. You're not sure if you can take her in a fight in your weakened state, and you may not be able to outrun her... what to do, what to do...
Tutorial! During a hunt, there will be several options that will affect how the encounter progresses, as well as your chance of success. You will not be determining every single kick and punch of the encounter, but you will be choosing what tactic Rasko utilizes! Everyone you encounter will be different, and your decisions will have a different impact on the course of the battle! Look for hints as to what may or may not be a good idea!

Two things that should be noted right away; one, shes a raptor, basically a scalie cheetah, built for speed and agility. Two she claims to be matriarch of the woods which means she probably knows them very well. Given this attacking head on or trying to run could be disaterous, best to keep calm and try to find a solution. So...
>>> Examine your opponent for a weakness/opening
Also small lil error, when she jumps from the boulder in the initial ambush you put 'from boulder' instead of 'from the boulder ^..^p only error that popped out at me

Hmm, seeing as he's in a weakened state attacking head on might be a bad idea. It would be my first choice otherwise, given this is a fast and vicious foe- hesitating especially here could be one's nightmare.
Seeing as she's the queen of the land, therefore likely will know it far better than a quick glance, would be able to use it to an even better advantage than he...

Vote- Examine your opponent in search of weaknesses.
Although the voting has ended, I would agree with the others, it's her forest, so she'd be able to outrace you via shortcuts, and it's generally not best to get into a fight with a foe you know nothing about. So examine for a weakness.
But other than my vote, this is a really good beginning if you ask me, I will keep tabs on the story and vote in future chapters for sure! Keep up the awesome work ^^
