
Okay Rose Centaur inked and ready to paint. The little dish is what I use when inking. I squirt out a bit of rapidograph waterproof ink onto the dish. Then using a tiny brush I dip and ink. This gives a lot of control and variance of line. I wash the brush frequently so it keeps it's shape. Set aside the pic and let it dry thoroughly so don't smudge the ink when erasing the pencil lines. This take a while. Be patient. The pencil lines have all been erased at this point and I'm ready to paint.

You know, I have to wonder. Do you repaint the Cathedrals
as a job where you are? Ha! You do some interesting media
and I'm sure you use high priced and expensive materials.
(Nothing wrong with that, though.)
It's just fascinating to see what you work with, and this
here is a good example of the "long lost artists" that
brings out the true details in talented individuals.
