I saw the twist coming. XD But I'm really curious how this issue ties into the greater Black Dog mythos, it seems to have no obvious connection. Yet...

I get the feeling this will tie back in later. However, my first hunch is that, with the aliens being space worthy (at least if their ship gets repaired), perhaps they had something to do with the other half of The One Who Crawls ending up on the moon (I think it was the moon) having apparently come from the planet (as that's where the other half was) and having been placed there before people were space worthy. Just a theory.
