Real life is stopping me from working at proper art, so have some sketches I made in quick breaks in the past days. Mostly for purposes of visual exploration and bringing down some ideas of my own universe. Also, slapping vivid colors at everything I do, that's the stuff I like. From left to right and top to bottom:
1) Three ideas for hoverbikes. Top one is inspired by Kaneda's bike from 'Akira', the middle one from the position people are in when sitting on a light bike from 'Tron', and the bottom one from old tractors and farming machines plus edgy Nazar design.
2) Sunrise scene on an alien planet orbiting a dual star system.
3) Concept for a character I had in mind. Feudal order rebel, so basically, space samurai. That means 100% more katanas and insane martial arts fighting.
4) Another concept, but rather a quick draft of an idea I had. A high Re'ek scholar specialized in the fields of Geometry, and more 'esoterical' fields like Sacred Geometry and abstract number theory.
5) Redesign of Karya (the machine spawning FTL drive and advanced technology in my universe) to make the design way, way more interesting and freaky. Added awesome-looking arm and leg wings and made the overall shape way more alien and pointy. Somehow inspired by NGE, realized that after wrapping the sketch up.
6) Quick scene on a planet with strange, artifical ring structures left by an unknown entity.
7) Design of something I am not going to say what it exactly is. Freakishly long legs, pointy appendixes and edgy ornaments are what I am really interested at the moment and ultimately, that's the... thing I came up with. No spoilers from my side.
As I now have a metric ton of RL obligations, that will mean I will work slower on my art an will propably stay silent for longer periods, but I am still gonna work from time to time if I can.
Done in Krita 2.9 64-bit.
