Next step. I've gone in and darkened the areas where the dapples meet again going with the direction of the hairs and expanded the area of the sapling. I then took a large brush and darkened the back edge. This smeared some of the couloir so I went in and darkened the touching edges again. Repeat until satisfied. If I get it too dark, I can pick out the centers with a clean brush and clean water. But no need here. I can also use a white coloured pencil one the areas are completely dry
