Thanks to Rutana [ http://rutana.deviantart.com/ ] for a method for hiding spoilers, AND, I didn't even realize this would be a spoiler until I went to post it. xD
In case you don't click the link, I still want to announce that the dogifying thing and I aren't getting along, and I may cease doing it except in cases in which it feels right to me.
Spirit Camera/Fatal Frame fanart is a case in which it didn't feel right and I need to work on not avoiding humans any more.

I think it would work on Wii U, also (and one is coming out for it soon).
The gyro controls on 3DS though, even though I usually hate them, worked great for this game, considering you're attacking with a camera. It feels like...well, like you're using a camera, because you are! xD This game is very AR/gyro control heavy. In fact, it doesn't work without the little book that comes with it, which is full of awesomely done AR pages you interact with.
It's VERY cool, and takes everything I ever poo-poo'd at that the 3DS does and turned it into fun. I was impressed!

It doesn't feel as odd in this setting, since it's like you're using the 3DS as a camera, and so it kind of feels natural. In games like Zelda, where you can use the gyro to aim, I feel WAY different about it, and that shit gets turned off immediately. xD
I wonder how the Wii U one will work now that you mention it? I bet it will be awesome, though. x3

The dogifying thing sometimes works, but for games like Fatal Frame, not so much, so I need to work on not avoiding humans in cases like this. If I stop avoiding them, I'll only get better with time, right? Even if I suck at first? x3
I'll still dog/animal-ify things often I'm sure, but not when it makes me feel silly, like this one did. xD

I think it's good of you to try and expand your repertoire, you shouldn't be worried about failing or messing up on a new species or thing to draw because as Salvador Dali said:
"Have no fear of perfection. You will never reach it."
There is ALWAYS room to improve, to experiment, to achieve greater even if your work right now with what you currently do is excellent. Yeah what you do right now is fantastic and people love it, but of course you should try new things for different ideas.
I can't wait to see what you can come up with :3
