A six foot rabbit in black and tan fur, their hair a tangle of rust. Long lop ears reach all the way to their waist and have been split down their middle and adorned with many loops and studs. A blindfold is wrapped around their eyes, though they seem none the worse for wear without vision. A collar of silver chain links encircles their neck with three black links mingled among them, one on either side and one at the front, scars around their neck show where the collar has dug in at some time. A pale tunic with a hood covers the torso, topped by an open front leather vest. Baggy once-black but now grey pants cover their legs. Belted about the waist is a long length of chain with a large metal ball at either end, the balls wrought to resemble curled up kiwi birds. Wrists and ankles both are encircled by chain links as well, each with a single black link. Following along with the kiwi theme was an actual kiwi bird that accompanied them, often found resting in the hood of the tunic.
This is my newest character Kastogh, he has the ability to shift between a male and female form fluidly and a few other tricks up his non-existent sleeves. His weapon wrapped around his waist is a meteor hammer named Flightless and his little friend that usually hides in his hood is named Nudge.
This is a re-imagining of an old character with a few extra concepts layered on top and I'm pretty happy with how he came out.
His story is that he was the son of a wealthy merchant that fell into debt and sold his child into slavery to cover his costs.
Life was rough for the young bunny, his owners cruel, used in blood sports for their amusement. It wasn't until he lost his sight to the claws of a feral beast that he learned he could 'see' even without them through some mysterious force. He never understood why they decided to split his ears down the middle but has since adorned both halves of them with many studs and loops.
Eventually, intrigued by his ability of 'sight' a group of cultists took ownership of the rabbit, by murdering his former owner, you know, the usual cultist thing.
The cultists served him up as the vessel for some evil force they hoped to contain and control but something went awry. The cultists were killed in the explosion of arcane energy and the rabbit was left whole, but with a soft feminine voice in the back of his head and the ability to swap genders, which was fairly surprising when it happened the first time.
Finally free of any living owners he cast aside his bonds and took up the name Kastogh before setting off to see what other challenges life would throw at him. Somewhere along the way he found Nudge and they've been inseparable since.
