Amongst his list of talents, Abdul has the ability to move gracefully whether on his feet, his hands, or on all four. In fact he can get around pretty on all four while still doing amazing things like balancing his ball on his nose!

For this and several other reasons he has become the unofficial mascot of the Palace Harem. In fact he is the only male other than the Sultan who is permitted to go in without first seeking permission. This primarily because the Sultan knows that Abdul is fiercely devoted to his wife Evenara and would not be tempted by the ladies to violate his fidelity to her. Also, because of his personality and loyalty the members of the Harem while finding Abdul a toothsome morsel seem to realize that if they were to tempt him they would corrupt and destroy the thing they find so endearing in him.
