Upon reflection I decided the red was not punchy enough. So back with the red paint and make it a deeper richer red. Red watercolour is difficult to work with as it tend to be opaque and will occlude the inking lines if applied to thickly. So it means lighter and more layers to build up the colour. Ah much better.
