SQueee..My traditional artwork really sucks but yours looks just lik your digital stuff. Thats pretty impressive!

It's funny because I'm not fond of my own traditional art :P It's not exactly that I think it looks bad, I just of course have much more experience with digital so it gets frustrating when I know I could do better.

But I have friends who are very determined to convince me otherwise, a friend of mine is even more determined to get me to sell at a con at some point, and badges like this would be the main thing to sell since my digital gear is a pain to bring.

*yeah I think My traditional stuff is terrible just because I feel more secure with my tablet I guess Theres no click undo button on paper LOL Its scary inking and colouring. I mess up a lot. But seriously these are coming out great and you could very definitely sell stuff like this at cons

Oh god the undo button. I tend to draw things pretty big and size them down which kills me with traditional. I always make the heads too big.

Awww, so cute! For the white highlights, did you use a white gel pen or acrylic paint? I can never get my whit gel pens to work the way I want them to :((

I use a gel pen, but yes, the colour tends to just not come out of the pen unfortunately, it's tough to do big areas.

But using paint would be a good idea, I'll have to try it!

I get a really reeeaaaally tiny detail brush for highlights in hair like these. It's hard to hold my hand steady though, so if you have shaky hands like me, your results may not be as nice as the gel pen, unfortunately :(

What I'd probably do is use gel pen for things like the hair and paint for eye highlights, especially big ones.
