this is a old story of mine i had when i was in school

it's called Space Fighters

it's about a brave and powerful and immortal space captain
Captain James StarBlazer who is being chased by a powerful foe a alien that wants his body

so he runs to avoid this thing

he has a good crew who will do anything to keep there captain safe

what he really wants is to save the one he is in love with he is a elf alien
from a crystal planet

he was kidnapped by the spider aliens and now James is out to get him back but he is being chased by the foe who wants his body a being that will cover his body in darkness and make it his own

spoilers:

the being does get his body and frees the one he had hold on
after fusing with James's body he is now in control until James trys to
fight back trying to free himself but the evil being puts a Jewel on which will keep James from taking control

James is now under the control of the alien the dark lord is what it is called

now with his body he can do anything after James is Immortal

but don't worry they free him later

the spider aliens then try to offer James lover to the dark lord as a slave to do what ever he wanted to with

but the crew comes in to save them both which they do

after freeing James the two lovers hug happy to with each other once more
