Went outside and did my first real photoshoot with wild birds.

Hm... I know what you mean, problem is, that the camera wants to focus on the object and that takes some time. The bird - of course - doesn't stand still ;). I try to remember, i have made similar photos last year with a seagull. I think i used a short exposure time (1/500) and and aperture of 5.6, but i am not quite sure (have to take a look at the archive cd's)
